ADULT WORKSHOPS

Come join the camraderie of sharing refreshments, conversation and learn or practice a new skill! Make gifts for the season.
The adult workshops run in 2 consecutive week sessions for each media from Oct 5- Dec 21. price for each 2 week session is $50, including refreshments, and all materials.  Workshops run from 7-9pm, with an exception for Family Nights, which runs from 6-8pm. Bring any additions of materials or refreshment that you like..

OCTOBER 5&12   7-9PM

FLAT FELTING $50 

Blend layers of colored wool roving with felting needles on a flat felt base to create flat wool compositions and designs to hang or use for scarves,  pillow covers, and anything you would use a small piece of fabric for. First week is assembling; second week is for washing , drying and hanging, framing, etc.

 NOV 16 & 30  7-9PM

SILK RESIST AND DYEING $50

Create a design with wax drawing resist  on a silk background ( scarf, piece of silk clothing, wall hanging) then dye or tie dye with lovely colors . The first week design and resist and color; the second week remove resist and dry/press/stitch.

OCTOBER 19 &26 7-9PM

SOFT STONE CARVING

$50.

Shape and polish soft stone into small sculptures and other useful objects. First week is for carving and shaping; second week is for sanding, polishing and mounting or embellishing.

FAMILY NIGHT!  ORNAMENTS & CENTER PIECES
$50 per family for either or both nights

Join other families! Make it a festive family event creating decorations for your home, tree and for gifts.

Create a snow covered fairy house with fairy lights for a centerpiece. Music, cookies, hot chocolate, cider and ideas for all ages. Bring your own ideas and supplies to share! $50 covers whole family.

HAND DECORATED PAPERS

$50

Onseveral types, shapes and sizes of paper, brush, roll, marbelize, comb, print, and swat on colorful paste paints. Second week, make collages, cover hand made books, wrap small gifts and  create card.
